7/26/2008Nord Stern Club Race DE Since I'm sitting this season out of racing, I decided to take advantage of the 3 days of track time and do some testing. My 2 nephews came up to help pit for me.
It was a great weekend! I set a personal best time of 1:58.9 on the 3 mile track. My data logger said I could have had a 1:55.8 if I had strung all my best session together. 9/6/2007Jag Graphics I've decided to take advantage of the orange color scheme and add the Jagermeister graphics to the car. Here are a few pics of the graphics on the car. 7/17/2005First Race at Putnam My frist PCA race was with my 78 930 at Putnam Park in Indianapolis. The trip was 11 hours during one of the hottest weekends in the year. 6/11/2004Womens Only Event Shawn was kind enough to put the Mule through a test session during the Nord Stern Porsche Club driver's education class. 5/8/2004Debut At Brainerd Raceway The Group B 930 made it's track debut at Brainerd International Raceway. With only 24 hours left, the "test mule" came off the lift and was checked out at the track.
It was a great weekend with only "warped" brakes to contend with. I didn't bed the pads correctly and had to deal with a shaky front end late in the weekend. I had it up to 150 on the straight with more to go.
Looks like I won't need to do any engine mods any time soon. Now I'm getting ready to go back to BIR for more testing on May 20th.
